![]() This may be why you can't import your DWG files. Manifold only imports DWG files created by AutoCAD 2000 and earlier. I would love to have this issue resolved ASAP, so would appreciate any advice on how to get it fixed. I'm not sure at this point whether its a Manifold offset issue, or an issue with the CAD program used to export the drawing initially. However, when I loaded the problem layer into DWG TrueView by itself, it had the same wrong coordinates that were showing in Manifold. And that layer looked correct with regard to coordinates in this situation. I loaded in one of the files that had worked successfully in Manifold, and when I did that, it appeared to also show the layer that I was having trouble with, as though it was linked to it. I then looked at the files I was given using a free program called DWG TrueView. But it is still geographically incorrect by a large offset. I first noticed that one of the problem layers was turning out really huge when opened in Manifold, but was later informed that this drawing was in a millimetre scale format rather than metre, so I changed this within the 'Assign Projection' box, and it is now of correct size. Some of the dxf's have loaded successfully into Manifold, some haven't. They wouldn't open in Manifold because they are an 'Unknown file format', so I requested them in DXF format. ![]()
